Putnam County Human Rights Task Force

The Putnam County Human Rights Task Force in Putnam County, New York, is a nonprofit organization comprised of a group of Putnam County residents who believe that all people are created equal. Our goal is to uphold and provide advice/service to individuals under New York Human Rights Law. We believe that all people deserve equal treatment within all government agencies (including the police), commersial enterprises, educational institutions and from all citizens. We are an organization that will educate, provide outreach, and provide advocacy for those that feeel threaened, intimidated, physically or emotionally harmed, due to their race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical or mental disabilities, or any other characteristic that exposes them to any form of emotional or physical harm.
